Inaugural Metropolitan Women's Match Play Championship Information

Method of Play:
Three-Day, Individual Match Play Competition (Gross)
Each match is worth 3 points (1 Point for Front Nine, 1 Point for Back 9, & 1 Point for Overall). Players will compete against everyone in their flight. The player with the most points in their flight will be the winner.
The field will be divided into the following divisions with flights in each division:
- Championship
- Senior
Flights within a division will be determined based on handicap index as of the registraton deadline.
In the event of a tie in a flight, the winner will be decided based on points from previous matches (total points won against player tied with, total points from Match 3, Match 2, Match 1 until the tie is broken).

Eligibility:
Eligibility for this event is limited to individuals who meet all of the following criteria:
1. Must be a Member of Greater Cincinnati Golf Association by purchasing a Handicap Index for the current year - Register Now or Visit Your Local GCGA Facility
2. Must have created a Player's Account Through Golf Genius - Register Now
3. All players must conform to the USGA Rules of Amateur Status.
4. Participants must be female.
5. Participants in the Senior Division must be 50 years of age or older on the first day of the Championship.
